<p>ZnajomaKlinika is an authorised yellow fever vaccination point in Warsaw and a Certified Travel Medicine Centre (COMP certificate valid to 2028). I qualify patients for the vaccine, administer it during the same visit, and issue the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP, sometimes called the "yellow book") on site. Consultations are available in English, in person and online.</p> <h2>Who needs a yellow fever vaccine and certificate</h2> <p>Yellow fever vaccination is recommended for travel to parts of sub-Saharan Africa and tropical South America, and a valid ICVP is a legal entry or transit requirement for a number of countries. Requirements change and depend on your itinerary, so I check the current WHO country list with each patient rather than relying on general assumptions. If your trip includes several stops or transit through a third country, it is worth reviewing the requirements for the whole route, not just the final destination.</p> <h2>The certificate and its validity</h2> <p>The ICVP is the internationally recognised proof of yellow fever vaccination checked at border control. Under the current WHO International Health Regulations, the certificate becomes valid ten days after vaccination and remains valid for the lifetime of the vaccinated person. I complete and stamp the certificate at the clinic on the day of vaccination, so you leave the visit with the document you need for travel.</p> <h2>Qualification and the vaccination visit</h2> <p>Before vaccination I carry out a medical qualification: a review of your health history, current medications, allergies and any contraindications, together with your planned itinerary. If you are eligible, the vaccine is given during the same appointment. The WHO recommends arranging yellow fever vaccination four to eight weeks before departure, and the CDC advises at least a month; if your trip is sooner, contact the clinic and I will assess your individual situation.</p> <p>Yellow fever vaccination can be arranged at any age. Where a child also needs a broader infectious-disease or hepatology consultation, I see children from age 6 and refer younger children to a paediatric infectious-disease specialist.</p> <h2>For patients visiting or living in Warsaw</h2> <p>Consultations and vaccination visits are carried out in English. You do not need a Polish PESEL number - a passport or residence card is enough for registration and for the certificate. Prescriptions and medical certificates, including the ICVP, are issued on site. Payment is accepted by card, bank transfer or BLIK, and prices are the same for English-speaking and Polish patients: a travel-medicine consultation starts from 250 PLN.</p> <p>ZnajomaKlinika is located at ul. Stefana Żeromskiego 55/67, in the Bielany district near Żoliborz, a short walk from the M1 metro line (Słodowiec or Stare Bielany stations).
