I welcome English-speaking patients for infectious disease, hepatology and travel medicine consultations at ZnajomaKlinika in Warsaw's Bielany district. I am a specialist in infectious diseases with more than 20 years of clinical experience, and I also practice hepatology and travel medicine. Since 2023 I have headed a branch of the Polish National Network of Travel Medicine Centres and I am a member of the Polish Society of Maritime, Tropical and Travel Medicine. Below are the practical details for planning an in-person visit or booking an online consultation.

Address and how to get here

ZnajomaKlinika
ul. Stefana Żeromskiego 55/67
01-882 Warsaw, Poland

The clinic is in Bielany, close to the border with Żoliborz. It is reachable by Warsaw Metro line M1; the nearest stations are Słodowiec and Stare Bielany, both within walking distance of the building. Entering the full address — ul. Stefana Żeromskiego 55/67, 01-882 Warsaw — into a map or ride-hailing app will take you directly to the entrance.

Office hours

Monday to Wednesday: 14:00–20:00
Saturday: 9:30–15:30

Consultations are by appointment. Online consultations can be arranged on request for patients who cannot attend in person, including for follow-up visits and pre-travel advice. Availability can vary by week, so it is advisable to call or e-mail ahead to confirm a time that suits your schedule.

Consultations in English

I consult in English, in person and online, on infectious disease, hepatology and travel medicine matters. Reception staff also speak English and can help with scheduling by phone or e-mail. A Polish PESEL number is not required to register — a valid passport or residence card is enough, which makes registration straightforward for expatriates, diplomats, students and short-term visitors to Warsaw. Prescriptions and medical certificates, where clinically indicated, are issued on site during the consultation.

Payment

Payment is accepted by card, bank transfer or BLIK. Fees for English-speaking patients are the same as for Polish patients and are published in Polish złoty (PLN): travel medicine consultations start from 250 PLN; infectious disease and hepatology consultations are 400 PLN, with follow-up visits at 350 PLN.

Travel vaccinations and certification

ZnajomaKlinika is a Certified Travel Medicine Centre (COMP certificate valid to 2028) and an authorized yellow fever vaccination point, issuing the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP, the "yellow book") on site. After medical qualification during the consultation, travel vaccinations, including yellow fever vaccination, can usually be administered during the same visit. For pre-travel planning, the World Health Organization recommends seeking advice 4–8 weeks before departure, and the CDC recommends at least a month, to allow time for vaccination courses and documentation.

Children can be vaccinated at any age. Infectious disease and hepatology consultations are available for children from age 6; younger children are referred to a pediatric infectious disease specialist.

Anyone who develops a fever after returning from a tropical destination should seek urgent medical assessment — please contact the clinic or the nearest emergency department without delay.
