I see English-speaking patients at ZnajomaKlinika in Warsaw for infectious disease, hepatology, and travel medicine consultations, both in person and online. I am a specialist in infectious diseases with additional practice in hepatology and travel medicine, and over 20 years of clinical experience. Appointments can be arranged in English at every stage, from registration to the consultation itself. Background on my qualifications is available on the about page.

English-Speaking Reception

The reception team at ZnajomaKlinika speaks English and can help you choose an appropriate appointment type — for example a pre-travel consultation, a routine infectious disease or hepatology review, or a specific vaccination. When you get in touch, it helps to briefly describe the reason for your visit so the appointment length can be planned in advance.

Documents to Bring

A Polish PESEL number is not required for registration or for the consultation. The following is generally sufficient:

A valid passport or residence card

Any relevant previous test results or medical records, if available

An existing vaccination record or International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis ("yellow book"), if you have one

Prescriptions and medical certificates, where clinically appropriate, are issued on site during the same visit.

Fees and Payment

Consultation fees are the same for English-speaking and Polish-speaking patients:

Travel medicine consultation: from 250 PLN

Infectious disease or hepatology consultation: 400 PLN

Follow-up consultation: 350 PLN

Any additional vaccine costs are discussed during the consultation itself. Accepted payment methods are card, bank transfer, and BLIK.

In-Person and Online Consultations

Infectious disease and hepatology consultations, as well as travel medicine consultations, are available both in the office and online. Vaccinations, including yellow fever vaccination at this authorised vaccination point, require an in-person visit, since they are performed on site after medical qualification. Since 2023, I head a branch of the Polish National Network of Travel Medicine Centres and I am a member of the Polish Society of Maritime, Tropical and Travel Medicine; the practice holds a COMP certificate, valid to 2028, as a certified Travel Medicine Centre. For pre-travel planning, WHO guidance generally suggests a consultation four to eight weeks before departure, and CDC guidance suggests at least a month, to allow time for any recommended vaccinations.

Consultations for Children

Vaccinations are available for children of any age. Infectious disease and hepatology consultations are available for children from age 6; younger children are referred to a paediatric infectious disease specialist.

After Returning from Travel

A fever developing after return from a tropical or subtropical destination should be treated as an urgent medical matter rather than a routine appointment. In this situation, please call the reception line directly rather than booking online, so the visit can be prioritised.

Changing or Cancelling an Appointment

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let the reception know as early as possible by phone or email, so the appointment slot can be offered to another patient.

Location and Hours

The office is located at ul. Stefana Żeromskiego 55/67, 01-882 Warsaw, in the Bielany district near Żoliborz, within walking distance of the M1 metro line (Słodowiec and Stare Bielany stations). Office hours are Monday to Wednesday, 14:00–20:00, and Saturday, 9:30–15:30. Online consultations can be arranged outside these hours by prior agreement.

Book an Appointment

To schedule a consultation, call +48 22 273 48 22 or +48 608 030 750, or write to kontakt@doktorpyziak.pl.
